About Scot

Scot HallScot is a singing teacher who specialises in Musical Theatre. He teaches singing privately from his Cambridge studio, at WINTEC (School of Media Arts) and at St Peter’s School. He is also Lead Teacher at the St Peter’s Musical Theatre Academy.

Scot regularly performs in concert and productions. Recent roles include Javert in Les Miserables and Mr Banks in Mary Poppins. Scot also directs musical theatre.

His teaching is heavily influenced by the work of Jo Estill, and he has taken Estill Voice Training Level 1 & 2 courses with internationally recognised expert teachers Anne-Marie Speed and Paul Farrington. He has studied voice with Pamela Wallace and Kenneth Cornish, and holds a DipABRSM (Singing) and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Waikato.

Scot’s teaching encourages healthy, efficient and expressive vocal production in a positive and focused environment.
